In a surprising collaboration that breaks traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Uncovered

According to the official release, "A mysterious encounter draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of banned rituals and monstrous transformations reverberate through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden group.

The questline centers on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses

The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Prizes and Bonus Content

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an special katana alongside numerous items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
